Autumn is a perfect time to enjoy the city of Madrid with children, as there are plans for the whole family.

This fantastic time of the year allows us to enjoy a great variety of outdoor plans, but we also have to be cautious, as rainy days and low temperatures are very common at this time of the year.

Take a ride on the cable car and stroll through the Casa de Campo.
This is an unforgettable experience, I still remember when I rode the cable car for the first time with my parents.
Once in the country house, you can’t miss a walk, a walk surrounded by nature where you can also visit the aquarium or the city zoo. Undoubtedly one of the most complete plans that will take up the whole day.
Visit one of the city’s football stadiums.
If your child is a football fan, Madrid is the perfect city. You can visit together the stadiums of two of the most famous teams in Europe, Real Madrid with the Santiago Bernabéu and Atlético de Madrid with the Wanda Metropolitano.
A unique opportunity to get to know the history of their teams and the players they admire so much.
Of course, we do not forget Getafe and Rayo Vallecano, with their respective stadiums, two teams from the city of Madrid, who also play in the Spanish first division.
Aventura Amazonia in Cercedilla
Cercedilla is a Spanish municipality and town in the northwest of the Community of Madrid, located in the Sierra de Guadarrama.
Without a doubt one of my favourite excursions to do with children. Where you can disconnect thanks to the vast nature of the municipality.
We would like to highlight Aventura Amazonia, one of the largest tree parks on the European continent, with seven multi-adventure circuits, where children will become the protagonists of their own adventures.
Enjoy the wide variety of musicals on offer in the city
Madrid is a city with a wide range of musicals and magic shows… perfect for children, and perfect for a rainy or cold day.
You only have to go to Gran Vía to see the great variety of shows that Madrid has to offer, and you can enjoy hits such as The Lion King, Grease, Peter Pan.
Although my recommendation is undoubtedly the magic show of Mago Pop, as the world’s most successful European illusionist returns to Madrid with his show Nada es Imposible at the Teatro Nuevo Apolo, a venue located in the Plaza de Tirso de Molina.
Bicycle route through the Retiro
We propose a bit of exercise for the whole family and take the opportunity to have a picnic. A healthy and cheap plan to share time and experiences with your children.
In addition, you can do several other activities in the green lung of the city, such as listening to storytellers or taking a boat ride on the park’s pond.
